Unlike a regular 9-to-5 job with employee benefits, being a real estate agent comes with a different set of perks. Our Select Benefits are designed to support your success in the real estate industry from the very start. 

Single 401k 

Unheard of in the local real estate market, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties offers our sales associates the oppurtunity to invest in a Single 401k. We automatically deduct your contributions every time you are paid. You don't need to remind yourself to write a check. 

Tax Incentives

You get two tax breaks when you save in a 401k plan.

  • Your contributions are tax-deductible. The money you contribute doesn't count toward your gross incomefor the year, lowering your taxable income.
  • Your money grows tax-deferred. With a 401k plan, your earnings are rolled back into the plan and don't have to be listed as income on your tax return untill you withdraw them. Your savings grow faster this way.  

Contribution Strategy

Your 401k enrollment form allows you to make contributions as a specific dollar amount or as a percentage of pay. We recommend you choose the percentage of pay, that way. when your income increases, so does your investment.
